A distinctive cultural space for the Awards Ceremony and gala dinner.
Capacity for the administration of delegate bookings and all delegate requirements.
Good press coverage for the Conference & the Awards Ceremony.
Places of interest (exhibitions, other museums or art centres, landmark buildings) to visit during the conference.

WHAT DO OUR PREVIOUS HOSTS SAY?

EMYA2024 in Portimão
We were very happy to have been the venue for the presentation and discussion involving the fifty museums chosen as examples of innovation and progress in this cultural sector. The beauty of this is that the EMYA annual conferences showcase, above all, stories and narratives that portray the true spirit of the people, places, collections, and situations addressed by the candidate museums.
Álvaro Bila, Mayor of Portimão

EMYA2023 in Barcelona
Barcelona History Museum (MUHBA), celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2023 hosted this time-honoured event, bringing together 33 delegations from across Europe and over 300 outstanding professionals from the museum sector. This gathering set the stage for international, top-flight professional debate on the role of museums as important institutions in our cities, supporting democracy and a public commitment to the cultural and social values they embody.
Barcelona is a city of dynamic, innovative museums that spark the interest of both local residents and visitors. It is also a unique outward-looking city, brimming with life and Mediterranean character. The EMYA’s presence in our city was a huge opportunity for everyone to celebrate and share the wealth of culture in Barcelona for the benefit of all.
Ada Colau Ballano, Mayor of Barcelona

EMYA2022 in Tartu
Hosting the EMYA2022 conference and awards ceremony offered the Estonian National Museum and the Tartu city a unique platform to showcase our excellence to a wide range of European museum experts as well as larger audiences. It also provided an enriching experience of sharing the topics of vibrant cultural heritage and innovation with colleagues from all across Europe.
